MESA, Ariz. — A boy in Mesa showed up for his neighbor after a long hospital stay due to cancer treatment, and in return, his neighbor surprised him with a brand new skateboard, according to a City of Mesa Facebook post.
Cristian, who was identified by city officials by his first name, lives across the street from Thomas, who just got released from his three-month hospital stay due to a stage 4 glioblastoma tumor.
