The cause and manner of death for Tempe resident Michael Bayne, who went missing in February, have been released.
Bayne, 32, was found dead on Feb. 20 near Center Street and McKellips Road by Tempe police detectives, according to Mesa police. He was last seen around 9:40 a.m. on Feb. 16 near Mesquite Circle and Curry Road, according to a Tempe police flyer. Mesa police said on Feb. 21 that his death was under investigation.
The Office of the Medical Examiner of Maricopa County listed Bayne’s cause of death as “acute combined fentanyl and methamphetamine toxicity.” The medical examiner’s office listed cocaine use as a contributory cause of death…
