SUN LAKES, AZ (AZFamily) — Deputies say a pedestrian died while attempting to cross a busy area in Sun Lakes on Tuesday night.
Just after 8 p.m., Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies received a report of a crash involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Alma School and Riggs roads.
Deputies say the pedestrian had a red traffic signal, but attempted to cross using the crosswalk on the west side of the intersection. At the same time, a Ford F-150 was heading eastbound on a green light…
