Family of 17-year-old killed in Peoria crash calls for changes to left-turn laws

PEORIA, Ariz — A Peoria family is mourning the loss of their 17-year-old son, killed in a crash with his high school classmates, as they now push for changes to Arizona law in hopes of preventing similar tragedies.

Saarth Korpe, 17, died after a crash Tuesday near Happy Valley Road and Lake Pleasant Parkway, according to Peoria police.
