PHOENIX — Nearly a dozen Vietnam veterans finally received the welcome home they deserved this week, as a local nonprofit brought together family and friends to cheer them on for one last chopper ride.
With support from Dillon Precision Products and Veterans Affinity, 10 Vietnam veterans were honored in an emotional ceremony that gave them something many never received after returning from war.
