PHOENIX — The man accused of planning an attack at the Phoenix Pride Festival in 2024 has been sentenced to prison.
Marvin Jalo was sentenced Friday in Maricopa County Superior Court to 1.75 years in prison after entering into a plea agreement for charges related to an alleged plot the defendant was accused of planning when he was a teenager.
In October 2024, Jalo was indicted on terrorism and conspiracy charges after he allegedly participated in online chat groups discussing explosive devices and then acquired materials to make an explosive.
