Penn Township, Pa. — Probation officers allegedly discovered a stolen firearm at the home of a Selinsgrove man who has a protection from abuse order filed against him.
Snyder County Probation Officers went on July 7 to the Penn Township home of 29-year-old Kevin Ray Cook. State police out of Selinsgrove were called to assist when Cook told probation officers he had a stolen firearm in his bedroom, according to court documents.
Cook told officers he had been drinking and related there was alcohol and a bong in the home. Cook also mentioned there was a stolen firearm behind his bedroom door, but claimed he did not know where the firearm came from, according to the affidavit.
