Power continues to return to areas left without electricity after Thursday night’s heavy stream of storms.
As of 11:30 a.m. Saturday, West Penn Power was reporting just over 12,700 customers without power in Westmoreland County, about 675 in Allegheny County and a little more than 600 in Washington County.
That was down significantly from their Friday afternoon report of about 40,000 in Westmoreland County, about 6,000 in Washington County and just over 3,000 in Allegheny County…
