The smell of barbecue, fried fish and southern comfort food filled the streets of downtown Pittsburgh on Saturday as crowds flocked to the annual Soul Food Festival.
Stretching along Liberty Avenue and Stanwix Street, the festival brought together dozens of food vendors, entertainers and community organizations for a celebration of Black culture, cuisine and heritage. Visitors spent the day sampling soul food favorites, including ribs, macaroni and cheese, collard greens, chicken and waffles, cornbread and a variety of sweet desserts.
