Pittsburgh’s Department of Mobility and Infrastructure will close a famously steep street to vehicles for up to two months beginning today, while crews repair the Lowrie Street Bridge in Troy Hill.
The closure of Rialto Street, known locally as Pig Hill, will allow contractors to work on the bridge’s abutments, which support each end of the structure.
