Allegheny County Executive Sara Innamorato introduced her 2027 spending plan to County Council on Tuesday, unveiling a budget that does not include a tax increase or layoffs to county staff, but that reflects ongoing financial pressures.
“Like many families in Allegheny County, we are trying to do more with less,” she told council in a roughly quarter-hour presentation at the outlet of its Tuesday meeting.
The roughly $1.25 billion operating budget represents a 4.7% increase in spending from 2026.
