If you ever wanted to watch a 2,000 pumpkin drop from 200 feet in the air, or take a selfie with the world’s largest pumpkin, then you’re in luck!
The Monster Pumpkin Festival, aptly named “The Greatest Growth on Earth,” is being held at the 3 Crossings Campus in the Strip District between 28th and 29th streets Saturday and Sunday.
This free event features more than 30-thousand-pounds of pumpkins, with four of the most gigantic being dropped from the air throughout the weekend. Organizers say they’re calling it the “Burgh’s Biggest Splash.”
