Several Pittsburgh-area gas stations selling fuel under $3

For the first time in years, several Pittsburgh-area gas stations are selling fuel under $3.

Website, Gas Buddy has seven locations offering gas under three bucks.

The three cheapest locations are member’s-only wholesalers, Costco in Homestead along with two Sam’s Club locations in West Mifflin and on William Penn Highway. All three have gas at $2.96.

Sheetz in Baden, Costco in Cranberry Township, Marathon in Conway and Speedway in Baden are all selling gas for $2.99 a gallon.

The current average gas price in the Pittsburgh area, according to AAA is $3.43 a gallon.

Gas hasn’t been under $3 in two years.
