7 people break into house during home invasion in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh Police are investigating after a large home invasion in the Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar area.

Officers responded to the 1500 block of Oakdene Street around 5 p.m. on Monday after repots that six males and one female forced entry into a home.

Two adult male victims were in the home at the time. They told officers that the female was used as a decoy, asking for a phone charger.

The actors were able to kick in the front door. On person potentially had a gun, another possibly had a knife.

The victims were able to escape the home safety, unharmed, through a second-story window.

A PlayStation and a wallet were reportedly stolen.

An investigation is ongoing.
