2 people dead after crash in Carroll Township

Two drivers are dead after a multi-vehicle crash in Carroll Township on Thursday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to Route 837 near the Donora Monessen Bridge at 1:13 p.m., Washington County 911 confirmed.

Washinton County Coroner Tim Warco said one vehicle was traveling south and another was traveling north when they collided. Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.

One of the drivers has been identified as Michael Bove, 48, of McMurray, according to the coroner. The other driver killed has not been identified yet.
