Beaver Valley musicians to perform on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

Beaver Valley musicians will get more national TV time Monday, when Charles Wesley Godwin entertains on ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

Godwin confirmed Thursday in social media posts that the Kimmel talk show appearance will feature his bandmates. They’re called The Allegheny High, and include five Beaver Valley musicians; Al Torrence, Nate Catanzarite, Eric Dull, Max Somerville and Joe Pinchotti, who have toured the country with Godwin.

Jimmy Kimmel Live” airs locally at 11:35 p.m.

Godwin and the Allegheny High performed three of their alternative-country originals on “CBS Saturday Morning” this past November (Some CBS markets, including Pittsburgh’s KDKA, only showed two.)

Godwin and his band will open 12 stadium shows this year for country star Luke Combs, whose fame has skyrocketed since his Grammy Award-nominated cover of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car.”
