North Allegheny Indoor Track and Field Team Shatters Four School Records at TSTCA Meet #5

The North Allegheny indoor track and field team set four new school records and won six gold medals at the TSTCA Meet #5 at Edinboro University. The Distance Medley Relay team, which includes juniors Robin Kucler, Elizabeth Pizon, Wren Kucler, and senior Eva Kynaston, set a new North Allegheny record with a time of 12:16.00. The 4×400 Relay team, composed of sophomores Mackenzie Winning and Maya Currie, and juniors Isabella Costa and Kendall Lucas, also established a new school record with a time of 4:09.33.

Individual records were also set. Mackenzie Winning set a new 800m Run record with a time of 2:21.81, finishing second. Sophomore Lindsey Breneman set a new Pole Vault record with an effort of 11’6”, finishing first.

The team also won several medals. Robin Kucler won a gold medal in the One-Mile Run, while Isabella Costa and senior Erin McGoey won bronze medals in the 400m Dash and the 3000m Run respectively. Junior Greg Abel and senior James Behrend also had first-place finishes in the 800m Run and the 3000m Run respectively.
