PITTSBURGH – In a five-year period between 2018 and 2022, there were 115 crashes on Penn Avenue. More than a third resulted in injury, while13 of those involved pedestrians. Compared to other streets in the Strip District, like Smallman Avenue and Liberty Avenue, Penn Avenue has the highest ratio of crashes to traffic volume.
