Station Square Joe’s Crab Shack latest restaurant to abruptly close

A restaurant at Station Square has closed abruptly, just months after a shooting was reported.

Chain seafood restaurant, Joe’s Crab Shack, closed on Sunday morning.

A sign was posted on the door announcing the closure and read, in part, “We are grateful for the support of our community and encourage our guests to visit us at another Landry’s location nearby!”

On July 30, there was a shooting near Joe’s Crab Shack in the middle of the day.

Landry’s also owns Cadillac Ranch, which recently abruptly closed its only Pittsburgh location in Robinson Township this past July.

Landry’s also owns the famous Grand Concourse restaurant, also located at Station Square.

Another longtime restaurant at Station Square, Buca di Beppo closed this past summer well.

The Station Square Joe’s Crab Shack was the only remaining location in the area. A Joe’s near The Mall at Robinson closed back in 2017.
