Pittsburgh Police Arrest Maryland Homicide and Arson Suspect Nikolas Patrick James Following Inter-Jurisdictional Efforts

In a swift response to a BOLO issued by the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office, Pittsburgh Police made a key arrest in connection to a harrowing crime that has sent shockwaves across Maryland. Nikolas Patrick James, a 46-year-old male, was taken into custody on charges of homicide and arson. Working in concert, the Pittsburgh Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit, Computer Crimes, and Robbery detectives located James just after 3 p.m. without incident in the 1100 block of Banksville Road, according to the Pittsburgh City Public Safety Blotter.
