Interstate 90’s typically relentless flow of traffic was disrupted Monday night after an incident involving a Massachusetts State Police cruiser and a civilian vehicle. According to NBC10 Boston, a state police vehicle was struck by a Subaru Forester around 9:20 p.m. while working highway detail near mile marker 126.8 on I-90 westbound in Newton. The trooper, stationed inside his cruiser inside the detail setup, was subsequently taken to a local hospital for treatment of the crash-sustained injuries.
