Loved ones held a candlelight vigil and a balloon release to honor the life of a man who was struck by a vehicle in Penn Hills and to raise awareness. Family and friends of 45-year-old Charles Green Sr. gathered Friday night near Frankstown Road and Overbrook Drive, where Green was walking when he was struck just after 6:30 a.m. Oct. 14.
