200-year-old Pennsylvania bridge reemerges from lake during drought, closed over collapse fears

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers recently announced due it was limiting access to the Great Crossings Bridge over Youghiogheny River Lake due to stability concerns. The historic bridge occasionally emerges during dry spells in the Commonwealth. According to locals, the last time the bridge was above the waterline was in 2019.
