Faced with a 4th and 26, Upper Saint Clair threw a hail mary that was almost caught at the 2 yard line, but was knocked out of the receivers hands falling incomplete.
Peters Township defeated the Rams 43-17 last year in the Championship.
Class 3A will see Central Valley against Avonworth November 23 at 5 p.m.
Up 14-7 over Elizabeth Forward, Steven Rutherford’s 91 yard rushing touchdown was the game changer to give the Warriors a 21-7 lead and they would run away with it 31-15.
Avonworth and Imani Christian were tied 0-0 at the half, but the Antelopes were able to break the ice with a Luca Neal rushing touchdown in the second half. The Antelopes upset #1 Imani 14-6.
