Bigelow Boulevard in Pittsburgh is shut down in both directions after a crash Tuesday morning where someone was ejected from a vehicle.
Emergency crews responded to the single-vehicle crash around 8 a.m. right before Herron Avenue.
When crews arrived on scene, they found a man who had been ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
Pittsburgh Public Safety officials said the cause of the crash is under investigation.
PennDOT is currently working to repair the guiderails damaged in the crash.
Right now, it’s unknown when the road will reopen.
