SWAT called to Pittsburgh home early Sunday morning for barricaded man

SWAT units were called out to a Pittsburgh neighborhood on Sunday morning.

A Pittsburgh Public Safety spokesperson says SWAT units were called to the 5100 block of Broad Street in the city’s Garfield neighborhood around 5:15 a.m., where a man was reportedly barricaded in a home after a domestic situation.

The spokesperson later told Channel 11 that police did a thorough search of the home, but didn’t find anyone inside. The man later surrendered to police and was taken to the Allegheny County Jail. Charges are forthcoming…
