Pittsburgh Mills owners to pay nearly $2M in fines for citations; more to be heard

The owners of the Pittsburgh Mills are on the hook for more than $1.8 million in fines after a recent court hearing regarding hundreds of citations issued against them by Frazer Building Inspector Bill Payne.

Samantha Kaczor, a representative of District Judge Michael Girardi’s office, said the July 17 hearing covered 259 of the 400 citations issued against the Mills.

An attorney for the Pittsburgh Mills owners, New York-based Namdar Realty Group, entered guilty pleas for 36 of those cases, Kaczor said in an email…
