Hazmat units responded to UPMC Mercy Pavilion in Uptown after a package with a powdery substance was found inside on Wednesday.
Pittsburgh Public Safety officials said the package, along with a threatening note, was found inside an office and was called in to 911 by an employee around 9 a.m.
