Pittsburgh police, fire and emergency medical services responded to reports of a vehicle that drove into a crowd of people, injuring six, just before 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, according to a city press release.
Officials said they were told by witnesses that the vehicle “was slow-moving and did not have a driver present when it drifted into the crowd,” which had gathered for a neighborhood community event, according to the release.
Six people were reported injured, five adult women and one adult male, three of whom were said to be in serious but stable condition. Five of the victims were transported to area hospitals.
