Case of Elizabeth Township man charged in pre-arranged street fight proceeds to county court

LITITZ, Pa. — An Elizabeth Township man accused of slashing a teenager with a knife during a street fight in Lititz will have his case proceed to county court after waiving his preliminary hearing.

Gabe H. Sanchez, 18, waived the hearing before Judge Joseph Stauffer on Aug. 19, court records show. He is charged with aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and possession of a weapon.

Police said Sanchez cut the victim twice in the torso during a fight involving eight to 10 teenagers and young adults on the night of June 4. The altercation broke out around 11 p.m. in the 300 block of East Second Avenue in Lititz Borough, and appeared to have been arranged beforehand, according to police…
