(WKBN) — The U.S. Coast Guard’s Marine Safety Unit in Pittsburgh was called Thursday to assess a situation with a sunken barge in the Ohio River.
The barge is located around mile 45 of the Ohio River, between West Virginia and Columbiana County, Ohio.
According to the Coast Guard, the barge sank early Thursday morning, and no one was on board at the time. The cause of the incident is unknown at this time, but the pollution it caused is said to be minor…
