‘I love being here’: Braddock native — and a producer on ‘The Pitt’ — returns for North Side filming

Not only is “The Pitt” back on the North Side for filming: So is a Pittsburgh native who is also an executive producer on the Emmy-winning medical drama.

“It worked out really well that this show is set here,” said Michael Hissrich, who was born in Braddock and raised in Monroeville. “I love being here, and everybody is so remarkably helpful. From the city to the state, everybody has been great.”
