Over a long career, Sylvia Fields has blazed a pathway marked by a legacy of collaboration.
The self-described collaborator – the first Black woman to lead a large private foundation in Pittsburgh – has carefully crafted teams and leaned on and learned from dynamic and profound mentors in philanthropy. Her leadership, authenticity and care have recently earned her two awards.
She recently received the Legacy Award from Gwen’s Girls and the Icon Award from the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. And though she’s retired from her role as president of Eden Hall Foundation, she’s not done yet…
