SWAT responds to barricade situation involving armed man in Brighton Heights

A swat situation ended peacefully Saturday morning in the city’s Brighton Heights neighborhood.

Officers were first called to the scene along Geyer Avenue at around 9:30 a.m. after neighbors claimed a man threatened them with a long gun.

A criminal complaint alleges the incident began as a parking dispute. Three people told police that the man, identified as Wayne Parker, threatened them after they parked in front of his house. All of the victims told police he pointed a shotgun at them and threatened to shoot…
