MONESSEN, Pa. — A Westmoreland County couple is charged after their 2-year-old overdosed on cocaine and fentanyl in October, according to KDKA-TV.
The Westmoreland County District Attorney’s Office said Monessen police and county detectives were notified Oct. 4 that a toddler was being treated at UPMC Children’s Hospital. Medical staff told authorities the child had tested positive for cocaine and fentanyl.
Investigators learned the child had come across drugs near a Monessen home. When officers entered the residence, they spoke with Sable Ford, 36. Inside the home, police found a blue baggie, a smoking pipe, two stamp bags, a scale, small baggies with powder residue and a case of THC cartridges. Field tests confirmed the residue was cocaine…
