NORRISTOWN — A jury convicted a Pittsburgh man of using a straw purchase scheme to unlawfully buy four firearms from a West Norriton gun shop with the intent to transfer to them to others who couldn’t legally possess the guns.
Jeremiah Saiyaa Pittman, 25, of the 300 block of Suncrest Street, was convicted by a Montgomery County jury of charges of unlawful sale or transfer of firearms, unsworn falsification to authorities, making false written statements on federal firearms purchase forms and dealing in proceeds of unlawful activities in connection with incidents that occurred between February and May 2024.
