SCOTT TWP., LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A woman serving time for theft related to vacation bookings is now facing more charges.
Eileen Miner, 70, pled guilty to several felony theft charges in September 2025 in relation to her West Pittson travel agency, Thompson Tours.
Three arrested for alleged burglary
Miner was sentenced to 20-60 months of incarceration, 35 years of probation, 380 hours of community service, and is no longer allowed to conduct business with the public. She did receive credit for the time already served since her arrest in October 2024.
The latest charges against Miner, file Monday, allege that she charged a Scott Township woman $1,199 in August 2024 for a January 2025 Caribbean cruise, which Miner was supposed to use to book the cruise…
