In a haunting report for CBS Pittsburgh, reporters Ross Guidotti and Ricky Sayer walked viewers through a crash that happened fast, turned deadly, and left investigators still trying to figure out the “why” behind it.
The victim was Jacinta Stevens, a Pittsburgh woman who, according to the report, ended up in the Monongahela River after her SUV left the roadway and plunged off Interstate 376, also known locally as the Parkway East.
Guidotti said investigators believe they now have a clearer picture of how her vehicle got into the river, even as the reason she lost control remains unanswered…
