Pennsylvania Police Investigate Abandonment Of Chihuahua Left Alone At Airport

Abandoning pets in public spaces is becoming a distressingly frequent occurrence. Even more troubling is the fact that some owners leave their dogs in plain view, thinking that security cameras or witnesses won’t have any impact.

This was the case at Pittsburgh International Airport, where a traveler tied his small Chihuahua to a pole and simply walked away, heading off to his flight without a second thought.

What he didn’t anticipate, however, was the swift action taken by law enforcement.

A Shocking Act of Neglect

The Allegheny County Police Department (ACPD) released a troubling announcement on their official Facebook page, informing the public that a dog had been discovered alone in the airport’s short-term parking area.
