A woman is dead after a two-vehicle crash Saturday night at the intersection of Rockwood Street and 28th Street in McKeesport, family members said. Neighbors told reporters they believe one driver blew through a stop sign before slamming into another car, and several people captured video of the wreck. The fatal collision has reignited long-simmering calls from residents for safety changes at the neighborhood crossroads.
As reported by WPXI, the crash happened Saturday night at Rockwood and 28th, and a neighbor recorded footage that the station said will air during its 11 p.m. broadcast. Neighbors told the station they believe a vehicle failed to stop at the intersection before the collision.
