Pittsburgh, PA – Slick bridges and snow-covered interstates are slowing the Monday morning commute across western Pennsylvania, with additional snowfall and strengthening wind gusts set to create new travel hazards by midday.
According to the National Weather Service in Pittsburgh, a Winter Storm Warning and Winter Weather Advisory remain in effect east of the city through 1 a.m. Tuesday. Steady upslope snow will continue across the ridges, where an additional 3 to 8 inches is expected, with locally higher totals in the highest elevations of eastern Tucker County, West Virginia.
