The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, one of the largest newspapers in Pennsylvania, which previously announced it was shutting down, has officially informed the state of the pending closure.
PG Publishing Co., doing business as the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification, informing the state it will cease publication on May 3 and will lay off all of its 171 employees at 300 Corliss St. in Pittsburgh.
