Thick white smoke punched into the sky over Ohio Avenue in Glassport this afternoon as firefighters battled a rapidly moving house fire that raced along the block. Sky 4 aerial footage showed heavy, rolling smoke as crews poured water on the flames and worked to shield neighboring properties. At least two homes appeared to be involved, and it was not immediately clear whether anyone was inside when the fire started.

According to WTAE, Sky 4 cameras captured the response as Glassport firefighters and mutual-aid crews hit the scene, stretching hose lines to keep the fire from jumping to additional houses.
