A small engine-room fire damaged the Gateway Clipper towboat Empress II while the vessel was docked along the Monongahela River in Pittsburgh on March 10.
According to local reports, firefighters were dispatched to the Gateway Clipper dock at Station Square shortly after 5:20 p.m. after smoke was reported coming from the vessel. Allegheny County dispatchers said crews were called to West Station Square Drive at approximately 5:22 p.m.
