Somerset Police Chief William Tedford states that, for the second time this week, the Somerset Police Department Detective Division has apprehended a suspect in a child enticement case involving a Somerset resident,nce of the Swissvale Braddock Hills Regional Police Department in Pennsylvania.
In December 2025, the Somerset Police Department’s Patrol Division received a report that a Somerset juvenile had been victimized by “sextortion” on the Discord and Telegram social media platforms. Following the first report, Detective Donald Cormier was appointed to head the investigation.
Investigators discovered through court-ordered search warrants that the defendant, known online as “Ollie,” had engaged in illegal internet conversations with many supposed kids from various locations.
