Pittsburgh police are investigating a homicide that happened around 2:28 a.m. on March 29 near S. 18th Street and Carson Street in the South Side. Officers responding to ShotSpotter alerts found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. They provided medical aid until EMS arrived, but the victim later died at the hospital. The Violent Crime Unit is handling the investigation.
