A pedestrian suffered a minor injury Tuesday morning when she was struck by a vehicle near an intersection prone to accidents that sits amid two UPMC hospitals and the University of Pittsburgh’s Oakland campus.
The woman, who authorities have not named, walked in front of the vehicle around 8:30 a.m., Pittsburgh police spokeswoman Emily Bourne told TribLive. She was “conscious, alert and speaking with medics and officers” after the incident on Lothrop Street.
