The second of two men involved in an altercation last year with a PNC Park security guard at a Pirates game has also filed a lawsuit against the team.
Joshua Gardner was leaving the Pirates game on May 4, 2025, with friend Patrick Egan, when Gardner bumped into a food-service employee. According to the lawsuit, Gardner said the employee insulted him, then got the attention of nearby security guard Raymond Stroud III.
Stroud and the two men got into an argument, and according to the lawsuit, Stroud punched Egan in the throat, face and head, later removing his belt and striking Egan’s face and back repeatedly…
