The Plano West volleyball team kept its unbeaten District 6-6A record intact on Tuesday, but not without having to overcome a worthy challenge from Plano. The Lady Wolves hung on to defeat the Lady Wildcats in five sets (25-15, 15-25, 25-12, 19-25, 15-11) and improve to 4-0 in district play. It marked the second straight time the two city rivals had gone five sets, and the fourth occasion in the previous seven meetings-last doing so on Oct. 6, 2023 in a meeting won by Plano.
