PLANO (KDAF) — The Kickback, a new BBQ restaurant and cantina, is opening at the Boardwalk at Granite park.
The Kickback offers a fresh take on BBQ with their “Pick your protein, Pick your style, Pick your vehicle” menu concept. Guests can choose from a variety of proteins such as Texas Style Chopped Brisket, Slow Smoked Chicken, or a Smash Burger. From there, they can select how they want it styled and finish by choosing a base like a Martin’s Sandwich Roll, Waffle Fries, Tortillas, or Rice.
To celebrate their grand opening, The Kickback is hosting a special event this Friday, October 25, featuring live music from Texas Country Music Hall-of-Fame musicians Will and Crystal Yates during The Boardwalk’s Friday Night Market. The Kickback will offer drink specials and free dessert starting at 7 p.m.
The restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
